Pastors Josh and Meg Cooke have a deep love for the local church and are devoted to giving their lives for Jesus and His Church.

Originally from the UK, they have over a decade of leadership experience in churches across Uganda, Cambodia, and three UK cities. In March 2020, they felt called by God to move to Cape Town to lead Freedom Church. Since then, they’ve welcomed two children, Evelyn and Noah, and have settled into the city.

Their vision is to build a diverse church that bridges socio-economic divides in South Africa, fostering deep, meaningful relationships across racial, national, and economic backgrounds.
