This week in the “Impossible Is Nothing” series, Pastor Josh focused on the power of prayer. He opened with Matthew 6:9-13, where Jesus teaches us how to pray: “This, then, is how you should pray: ยOur Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.ย”
He also highlighted the importance of communal prayer by referring to Acts 4:23, which says, “On their release, Peter and John went back to their own people and reported all that the chief priests and the elders had said to them.” Through these scriptures, he emphasised that prayer is not just a personal act but also a powerful collective experience that brings believers together and strengthens their faith.
